"Failure to load"

I have lost two designs, each after quite a few hours of work, when a pop up simply said “Failure to load.” One said simply – not saved. There seems to be a
bug here somewhere that can simply fail to load and the design goes the way of the Dodo bird. Any ideas?

This happened to me also. I got the PDF flie back (that's what I needed) but the .bc version is over wrote. You may try to change the extention to .pdf see if you can get it back. I don't think it will hurt to try. I think Bead Creator has an issue when trying to save a file, it sometimes saves as .pdf or .bc or visa versa. Chuck or Andrew might want to start there to resolve the problem?
