Creating beautiful beadwork with BeadCreator
I have a project 1.35" x 2.03" (peyote) already designed in size 11 beads. I want to make the same size project but in size 15beads. When I start with a blank canvas, put in the measurements and select size 15 beads, I wound up with FEWER rows & columns than I had with the 11's.
This is the opposite of what I wanted, since I had a more detailed pattern I wanted to do in the same area. What went wrong?

Hmmmmmm I just tried to do the same size parameters with size 11 beads & it had more columns but the same amount of rows. Also the # of beads listed was more for the size 11 (800 beads) compared to the size 15 (600 beads) - I would think there would be way more beads for the size 15.

Makes no sense.

The only bead size that is even remotely correct is size 11 and that is for Delica beads only. All the other sizes have ??? no correctness. You have to change the bead size chart in preferences to what you want it to be. You can look in the manual in the Appendix where I wrote about bead size.

You did not say if size 15 was Delica 15 or Miyuki 15. When I did a survey of sizes I did not get much in either of these beads. What I did get in peyote for Delica 15 was Width 22 (.04545) Height (.05263) and Miyuki 15 Width 23.34 (.04284) Height 15.58 (06418). I have no idea if these numbers are anywhere near accurate.
