Hi everyone,

My name is Ellen Algava, and I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and have lived in New Jersey for over 30 years.

I like to do pictures about space and space exploration; I also did a picture of WTC from a picture that my husband took from Ellis Island on 6/6/2001(eerie, isn't it).

I'm still relatively new to the software; I do other crafts as well(gasp!), so I'm kinda divided in several directions, but I hope get better aquainted with the softwear, especially when 5.0 comes out.

Everyone have a great and safe holiday weekend.
Hugs,

If you've used or know someone who has used Aikos and Delicas, what are the differences? TIA

Vista 64?? Is that from 1964 or something? (Just kidding) My guess is NO, it won't work and even if it did, you might have to keep it running all night to get anything done -- sorta like asking a recalcitrant teenager to do chores... I have a pretty fast computer, but still have to do some sitting around while the various maneuvers take place. You might want to upgrade your computer/software before you install V. 4 or 5 (soon to be, I hear). I guarantee the experience would be a lot more rewarding, even stimulating. No wonder you're in a creative slump! I've had my BCP 4.0 for a couple of months now, and I'm having a blast. (BTW, you might also want to have a Delicas kitty set aside -- you'll be tempted to buy a lot of those babies, esp. if you're into realistic reproduction of photos, as I am).

Welcome artist, my hubby is from L.I. Good grief, I just looked in today and saw my last post, I had just finished my amulet bag and needed to start on the necklace for it. Well, sad to say it hasn't talked to me yet to tell me what kind of necklace it wants. So there it lays, I so wanted to put it in the Hamburg fair this year. Guess I'm in a bit of a creative slump. Or should I say crater since I'm not artistic at all. I'm sorry I can't help you artist, I'm just not a computer person either. All I know about vista is my husbands computer has it and he hates it. Ya'll take care now. Hugs,Judi

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a good day. Finally finished my Amulet bag. Well the body of it, have to order more beads arrrrrrrgggghhhhh! Just placed an order two weeks ago before I started the bag. I'll be teaching a class on Monday evening, Had to cancel last Wed. because of a snow storm. Hopefully these ladies will enjoy beading as much as I do and we can order as a group.

What is everyone else working on?

Another storm is supposed to come our way next Tue. but I think I have enough other beads to keep me busy. Or maybe I'll start adding the prices to my bead inventory so I can figure out what each thing costs once I've finished it. If anyone has an easier way of doing that I would sure appreciate the input.

Tale care ya'll and keep warm.

Hugs,
Judi

Hi All,
Have been busy beading, and trying to creat a pattern for the Upstate New York Transplant Services. Having trouble getting the registered trademark into the pattern. Spent most of last Saturday working on it then decided start an Amulet bag pattern that I've had for about 3 years. I'm getting further with the Amulet bag and there's 38 colors in the pattern. Oh well. I'll get the pattern worked out some day, I'm just not a computer person, would much rather be working with the beads.
Keep warm ya'll.
