Andrew, can't wait to get the #5 version. Any chance the RAW I have requested several times will be in BCP5. I really hope so as I've got so many ideas I want to try out. Thank you & the whole team for all you do for us!!!! Barbara aka BJ

Thank you Barbara re: Ben. No apologies needed for "writing a book". Davids brother is dying of cancer, as did his mother. His other brother has testical cancer and I am in remission for breast cancer so I know what you are going through. Life is a bitch but we have to roll with the punches.
Anytime you want to shout and rave just do it to me.
Take care
Kathy

Hi Barbara,
I just joined this group and saw your pictures. I really love your little baby bed. Can you please tell me where I can get directions for it.
Many Thanks,
Paulette

Yes they do. That is one of their traits. He has also broken a back leg twice (not when with us) and from behind walks as if he has to clutch something between his buttocks! Quite amusing to watch. Hubby stayed downstairs with him last night to give me a good nights sleep. All is still quiet down there so I am keeping quiet to let him sleep longer. I am NOT tired today!

I wrote you a long letter and lost the lot. Here is another try!!!!!!!!! I am rather tired today.
We have had 16 1/2 Ben for 2 1/2 years. I had a bitch called Whisper (see her beaded picture on my pate) and my friend and I used to look after each others dogs for holidays, emergencies etc. Well, my friend developed cancer and naturally was worried about her lovely pooch. My friend died. Her family and other friends did not want the responsibility of him, and as he knew us, we decided to "take him on". He is going blind, is totally deaf but very active for his age. He plays fetch and often makes me go after his "elephant" (a toy, not the real thing!) We had been given a dog buggy for him as he doesn't like to walk out too far or fast. But when we take him around the park some distance from us and it is time to come home, he races all the way, making these two pensioners look like wallies!!!! We just can't keep up with him. I will put a picture up of him on my page so you can see him. He is now in the habit of coming down stairs in the middle of the night for drinks or toilet and last night he decided to bring his dinner up, all over the kitchen floor, so I was on my hands and knees cleaning up at 3 am. That is why I am so tired most days. But we love him to bits.

I have worked in the past so have a small pension (VERY SMALL) and with the crunch beginning to bite I am being extra careful about spending on just about anything other than food. David does all the cooking, has done for the past 8 years since I was in hospital and had to recuperate for almost a year. I do the household chores though, something I hate!!!!! We have a schitzu who is over 16 years old and I am up most nights with him now so I do a few rows of beading in the wee small hours. Told you I was an addict!!!

That's nice of you to say so. As I have said before I am an addict and being retired I have the time, but these days I have to watch what I buy, so am using up some stock that I have had for quite some time.
