Greetings All~
Just a little bit about me... I've been a seed bead artist for about 20 years now ;my specialty being loom work and peyote stitch. While I do some contemporary work my primary focus is and has been Traditional Native American beadwork.

I have also given in to my desire to "play with fire" and have been flameworking for about 6 years. I am in love with melting glass and the freedom that comes from making my own beads!

Flameworking has opened new doors for me and after doing beadwork for all these many years for friends, family etc. I have finally taken the big [somewhat scary] step of selling my work. So far so good!

If you want to see more of my work just come on over to my site: http://www.badgersbeads.com

Thank you CJ
The split looms are popular here but it was also one that I was anxious to try. I love the way the split loom look.
(I've been reading Debbie's comments about the ornaments, I agree with her, I loved the ornaments but wanted Native American style so started experimenting with some of my patterns, I love doing them. You will to, so just give them a try. Like Deb said you will be hooked.)

Your welcome. Yes, you should experiment, I had so much fun, lol. I always admire all the victorian netted ornaments but love the Nat.Amer. style and thought hmmmm I could really have some fun, now Im hooked, basically any Native American style bracelet and or diamond shape earrings could work, you just have to play around and get the measurments to work out right. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Have a great week.

Hi CJ, I had to stop and admire your lampwork. It is very nice, but the hook was your name. My eldest son is a CJ as well. Do any of your relatives come from northeastern PA? I really am impressed with your work. I tried lampworking but had a difficult time with it. I am better with polymer clay, and my husband doesn't hover - afraid that I set the house on fire with the torch. Do you incorporate your lampwork into beaded necklaces? If so please post a photo so that we can admire it. Happy Beading - Anita Bagley
