Thank you for inviting me to be a friend. You do some very nice work. Love the snow in your pictures, just like here (Montreal). Love the "critters". And wolves are indeed a breed apart from all other "critters", aren't they? One of my passions.
Thank you again, Ann

OK - Atlantic Bread Co. at noon on Saturday. Decorate yourself with some beadwork. I'll wear something beaded - a amulet purse or necklace so you can spot me.

If you need it my cell # is 843-810-4841
Hugs - Anita

Good Evening,
Sounds like a plan. I usually hit the Church's on Sam R. across from the Barnes and Noble. There was a S.E.Asian restaurant across from the mall but they changed hands, I don't know what they are like now. There is a Bar-B-Q place on 17N, but I've never been there. There is an Atlantic Bread Co. on Sam R. near the bead shop. There is the food court at the mall. Here is a link check them out and pick a couple to narrow it down. http://www.charlestonsfinest.com/dining/west-ashley.htm

Good morning,
We have a small bead store in Summerville, the Blue Cottage that I use for emergencies. Her selection is OK but not worth the trip to see it. I had thought we could have lunch here and play in my craft room. Summerville is a hike for you so here are some options:

West Ashley - Charleston Bead Company - pricey but interesting selection on Sam Rittenberg Blvd. near the Citadel mall in the strip mall with Barnes and Nobel - lots of choices for lunch. Haven't been there for awhile, I assume that Robin is still there and it is the easiest to reach and probably the closest for you. She carries Japanese seed beads and delicas and lots of stringing stuff. Also about 10 minutes or so away is the Daniel Street Beadery. They had a large selection of Japanese seed beads and delicas the last time I was there. They are off of Hwy 17 past the Coburg dairy and St. Andrews shopping center – heading towards Charleston. She used to offer free classes if you bought the supplies there – that might be interesting.

Mount Pleasant - Shem Creek side - the Country Bumpkin - Andolinis Pizza is nearby or Wild Wings. On the other side of Mt. P. on Chuck Dawley is the Beaded Venus - both of these can be visited in the same afternoon. They are not far apart but probably a hike for you. Neither carries a large selection of delicas or seed beads but have a little of every thing.

Downtown – Beads on Cannon near the Hominy Grill. I haven’t been there in awhile. They were upstairs in the building and crammed a lot of stuff in a small area. They are mainly for stringers and parking is a challenge.

N. Charleston – On Rivers across from Northwoods in the Wal-Mart shopping center is Gail’s Beads. She has some delicas, lots of Czech in different sizes- strung and unstrung. She is very close to the Green Dragon. There are lots of choices for places to eat even some oriental or Sticky Fingers near by.

Check these out online and decide how much traveling you would like to do. The West Ashley area is probably half way for both of us. We can check to see if they are still in business and offer the same services and carry the same merchandise. Let me know what appeals to you.

Hugs - Anita

Hi,
Saturday would be fine. Which side of Charleston is better for you? Is your sister on the Mt. Pleasant side or is she in Hollywood on the John's Island side? Do you want to eat out and hit a bead store or would you like to come to Summerville and have lunch here or find a place downtown?

Think about how much traveling you would like to do?

Hugs - Anita

Jo Ann, the software says it is 14" but that really depends on which thread a person uses and how tightly they work. 14 1/2" sounds right on the money to me and 280 beads across is accurate. The height is 18.7" but that too may be off a bit. 281 rows. Now I bead 15 rows to the inch high and 18 wide but just like finger prints we are different. This is not a problem, I hope?
My bead angel says she thinks it is going to be gorgeous. She does not get to work a lot on it, so it is going but slowly. Anything else I can help you with just holler!

HI Jo Ann,
You can see I am having computer issues but I would love to meet up with you and your sister. I am in Summerville and could meet you where ever you would like. My husband and I have one commetment this week but otherwise I am free. Make a couple of suggestions for time and place and I will get back to you.
Happy Beading - Hugs, Anita Bagley
