It doesn't matter how you start the next strip. Just continue in your usual way. I always bead the first row on a starter strip on all my peyote pieces but doing rows 1 and 2 together is fine.

Hi Kelly,
No you just bead the rows as normal. So if you end on an odd row, you start on an even row. The rows will "zip" together.

Hello Kelly, nice to meet you!

You asked if I only create in BC. No, not only. I consider what the programs offer and what design I am trying to create. BT is a simpler program for simple designs and BC offers much more. However, every bead pattern program is not able to offer a  'click then bead' option. There is more work to creating a pattern then most realize, although many in this forum do. I make pallet adjustment as well as photo manage before I install the photo into the program. You can also creae a great pattern using an acetate film over a picture then select the bead colors, following line by line. Your  photos are gorgeous!

You are correct, Kelly. My steed is a 1985 Honda Sabre 700cc V4 sport tourer. It has served me faithfully for 27 years. Do you ride?

Thank you Kelly. I am working on learning BeadCreator, but from what I've seen of the community, there is a lot of help out there. I'm not a beader. I'm a tapestry weaver.

Kelly, one of the features that I LOVED was that you can use multiple stitches in a pattern - Multiple Pattern Formats - in BC5. It seems to have been removed from BC6. Also, I don't see any way of selecting or rotating patterns or sections. I scanned quickly through the manual and didn't find anything on the last two points. The manual is also for BC5, some of the features seem to have been removed from BC6.

Hi Kelly...Thank you for the greeting:)  I live in Palm Harbor, FL.  I am just in the process of learning how to use the Bead Creator Pro 6 and am having a problem finding the images.  I upgraded to the Masters images, but there seems to be a problem.  Andrew is working with me on this.  I make a line of jewelry for my gift store and have always loved "painting" pictures with beads.

Thanks so much Kelly. I will use the same principal with the palette selection that I do when I work with BeadTool. A quick question (at work!), is it possible to edit the colours for the beads so they're more realistic or this is set and unchangeable? Also, Andrew told me the manual will be under the tutorials but I couldn't find them yesterday.
I'll play around more this evening when the babes are in bed. Thanks so much for your offer of help, I think I'll need it. I tried starting a 'freehand' pattern but didn't look right i.e. I wasn't getting the grid for putting in the beads! Anyway, I'll look at it again later today.

Hi Kelly, hope you're well. I decided to take the plunge and got the persnal edition one. The little time I've had to play around with it I've liked what it's done so far. I'll give it a real test by using it to graph the photo for my sister's necklace :))) Still have to register it so some things are disabled till then. Hopefully the email should come through by tomorrow eve when I'm back from work.
