Susie Hughes replied to Debra's discussion same size project, but new size bead?
"Debra,   You did not say if size 15 was Delica 15 or Miyuki 15. When I did a survey of sizes I did not get much in either of these beads. What I did get in peyote for Delica 15 was Width 22 (.04545) Height (.05263) and Miyuki 15 Width 23.34…"

Susie Hughes replied to Debra's discussion same size project, but new size bead?
"Hi Debra, The only bead size that is even remotely correct is size 11 and that is for Delica beads only.  All the other sizes have ??? no correctness. You have to change the bead size chart in preferences to what you want it to be. You can look…"

Susie Hughes replied to Marsha Caristi's discussion Loom pattern settings
"Hi Marsha, Do you have the PDF Manual? If not, then you have to get it from tech support by opening a ticket. In the Appendix of the manual is the explanation of bead sizes in BC. There are some examples of what to set for looming with Delicas.…"

Hi Susie,
Would you recommend PhotoShop for editing pictures before I import into BC? I want to do more custom design work, so I feel I have to learn an editing program.

Good morning! I have had Publisher 4 for almost a year and have figured out a lot of it, but am really frustrated that information of existing programs isn't finished or available, yet here comes more versions/editions!
I keep asking and nobody has answered about how to use the protect/publish/etc features, have all these people paid for something nobody can tell them how to use? My apologies for not saying this well - I don't mean to be rude - this is a great program, it just is not documented very well.

I am trying to figure out how people list/display patterns and yet protect them from simply being downloaded, copied, and/or printed before purchase. I see bead and crossstitch patterns on a lot of sites, so I know it happens. I have patterns I would like to include on my Etsy site, but can't show a clear image that isn't easily ripped off. I get suggestions about just taking photos of finished projects then listing the pattern for sale - that is not the point - I don't necessarily want to do each project - I have too many ideas/patterns to work them all.

I also got frustrated with andrew's response to my question about how to find the other author of some of the tutorials - "she's around, get in touch through the site" but I can't find a way to do that, any contact info at the end of a tutorial doesn't work, never answered, etc.... the names used on the tutorials don't come up on a member search, what the heck?! I followed a link that went to a pattern page, but the only contact available was to buy a pattern, not contact for info. Sometimes I want to pitch the whole thing in the ocean.

Hi Susie,
After "listening " to everyone regarding delica colors, I have decided that I am going to copy you and make squares of those colors I have. Did you use clear or smoke fireline or did you use nymo thread to make your squares? I thought maybe white would show the "real" color best...what think you? Thanks, Jeanne
