Had a lovely note from Kathy this morning. She is doing well but her left hand is not co-operating well yet so no beading for now. She tires more easily too right now but her spirits are good and she has great family support. She is really enjoying…

You will know because when the program opens it will say it is illegal or words to that effect. It will still work but only in a limited fashion if that happens. Georgia

Georgia, your work is beautiful. I am new to the Beadcreator family and was looking at the everyone's comment and I noted that you mentined the Best Loom Of All--no warp loom. I went to your website but was unable to find any information. I'm a novice at loom work but I do know that I hate all of those leftover threads that I have to weave back through. Thank you. Amelia

Oh my, your work is beautiful. I am trying to make a purse and wallet for my mom for Christmas with my neice and nephew's pictures on it. I thought it would be and easy thing to do with Bead Creator 4.0 but now I'm thinking I don't know if I can do this. I love your work. How long have you been doing this?

Hi Georgia,

I'm 3/4 done with your iris garden pattern (peyote style). It so funny, I show the piece to my husband and he can't tell the flowers from the trees. Then I remembered he's color blind, and all the colors that are similar look the same to him. I'll post the picture when I'm done.

Hi Georgia,

First of all ...you do beautiful work. I was wondering if you can answer a few questions for me ? I taught myself how to do bead weaving and I bought the BC program but I am having trouble with bead colors and finishes. I make a pattern and start weaving and then I find myself not liking it, it's either to shiney or the actual bead colors are not true from the pallet design. My bead work colors and finshes never look as good as the pattern, can you help.
Thank you, Lori

Thanks Georgia,
No problem just didn't know how big it was. Now I can get back to it. I knew that it would be a large project just not how big. Thanks for the Pattern and all of your help.

As Always

Hi Georgia,
I have started on the wolf pattern. I am now on row 3, I have just one little question for you. How big is it going to be. I have 14 1/2 inches so far across the bottom. Is that right? Please let me know before I go any further.
There is 280 beads across the first 2 rows.

Thanks
Jo Ann

I get it! That makes so much sense now. Took me a while, but I understand it and will certainly give it a try. Thanks again!

Hi Georgia,

Thanks for so much info! Actually, after my first project I figured out the "scoop from a dish" routine, works very well. I'm only using 6 colors, so your 40 colors in the winter birds pattern seems a bit intimidating, though I'm still considering it.

And now my total newbie-ness - what's distinctive about a "beading needle" as compared to any other needle? Obviously I haven't bought one.

There is one part of your explanation that I'm not understanding. I've been putting all the colors for a row (65 beads) on the thread, push maybe the last dozen or so through the warps on the far right (I'm going left to right), then work my way back with the needle through that dozen or so, push some more up through the warps, then needle, etc. Is that what you're saying, or am I missing something? You said "place a straight pin into the last bead to hold them in place while I go get more beads and before sewing back through the whole row." Go get more beads? Sorry I'm not getting it.

Also, my projects are narrow enough that I can reach my hand behind it, with thumb in front ,to "pop" them. How do you do that with a wide piece?

As far as framing, my first little piece (3x5"), I used a mat and frame. I'm thinking this time of weaving the 1/4-inch of "fabric" with my thread, then covering that with a tube of actual fabric or ribbon to place a dowel through - similar idea to adding a bunch of rows of beads, but cloth instead. We'll see.

After seeing the photos of your projects, I know I'm getting help from a real pro! Again, thanks so much for all your help.

I linked to your etsy site. Beautiful items. Question: I am considering buying your winter birds pattern (small, loom), which is still wider than my three 3-1/2" projects so far (almost a beginner). I also thought about your no warps loom pattern. So how do you display a larger item like your tapestries if you don't have the "fabric" woven at the ends? And do you have a 5" needle and then you just come back through your row in sections? Thanks
