What beautiful work you do!! I am trying to figure out how to make a palette for BC6.0. This is a new version for me - I went from BC4.0 that I have used for a couple of years. Are you the one who made the 'very little shine' palette? Would it work with BC6.0? If so would I be able to get a copy from you? I made my own palettes in BC4.0 but I can't figure out how on this new version. Thanks.
When you loom w/6lb fineline. Have you had any older finished pcs break? When I'm fishin', I know old line breaks really easy. And I have palette that's marked very little shine. Is that the palette you sent me? (I love it!)
Hi Georgia,
When you create a pattern larger than 12 inches. Do you see grid type marks? Not the red ones when the grid is on. It's hard to edit when I can't see the design clearly. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kelly
Hi Georgia,
Do you always use your customized pallet (very little shine) to design your patterns?
Have you tried designing w/the Dewey color safe pallet yet?
Hi Georgia,
Do you think it would be a good idea if Andrew could put a quick link to your Esty site on your home page? or is there a different (easier) way to get there?
Yes, babies are definitely special, and epecially this one. This is the daughter that was 'never' getting married let alone having a child. Can't wait to hol that little one in my arms.
Question: I've noticed that you have beaded a couple Norman Rockwell pieces as well as some other artwork. Do you need to ask permission from someone, and if so, how do you track down who to ask?
Thanks for the encouagement on the beadng pieces. I seem to pick the biggest, most complicated patterns I can come up with. Oh, well. At least I don't get bored.
Hi Georgia! Yeah, I kind-of am at loose ends. Believe me there's enugh going on in my own house to keep me off the streets and out of trouble (well, maybe ...) From what I've heard they're having a great time.
Haven't replied to Texas Beadrs because I've just passed through a time whn I had at least one thing planned for every day, mostly two or three. I will as soon as I can figure out what to say.
Got good news yesterday. I'm going to have a grandson. Mom and baby doing well. Baby's healthy and of a good size. Can't wait until September when he'll make his arrival.
Am back working on the Cheetahs again. Only 30 rows to go! Also working on the Eyes of God piece (the peyote piece that was giving me fits). I seem to have resolved the problem and have finished the first square. Am working on the border between first and second square.
Seems like I have a never ending TO DO list. Stuff for Gary, stuff for Dad. Then there's household stuff. Guess I just need to learn to take time for myself.
I know you're in the Texas Beaders. I just joined. Can't figure out how to communicate with them. I was expecting like a chat page where you can read the various comments and respond to them. I've been getting emails with various comments. Would like to get acquainted with some of the members but don't know how.
Amen on the spoiling. I'd be in real trouble if they did! Have several ideas brewing. They'll 'come out' when they're ready. I'm working on baby things also. My daughter who just got married is due in September. But busy hands are happy hands (or so they tell me)
Amen to the feisty. And I'm trying my best to get some things done that have been lingering. Also need to get goig on baby things. Have several started but not much finished. Guess I need to lock myself in my workroom with a Disturb at Your Own Risk sign until I get some things done. Sounds like a plan to me!!
Hubby had the laproscopy. He has four small incisions. But he's still learning what he can eat and what bothers him. Had an incident with that yesterday. Now that the wedding is over maybe I can concentrate on things around here (like beading). And actually spend some time getting pieces done.
Well, he is healing nicely. The kids are duly married and Mom only lost it once. There was this time when she called me from the limo on the way to the ceremony and I just lost it. OK now though. Having an impromptu get together with Gary's family and friends today. Glad I have something to do other than wonder what the kids are doing. Now to happier things. Nw that I have The Cheetahs back I can finish it as I want it to be. Am also working on the peyote piece. The one that the tension was giving me fits. Am two-thirds through the first square. Want to try some looming sometime soon too. Gotta go get ready for church. Thanks for beig there. I really needed someone to "talk" to.
Hi! Sorry I've not answered you lately. It's been a tough week. My husband went into the hospital the night before we were supposed to leave for Las Vegas where my daughter was going to get married. It was gall bladder but we didn't know that in the begining. So he ended up having surgery on the day e were supposed to leave. AndI ended up canceling our trip. He was supposed to walk her down the aisle. So she's had to scramble into 'Plan B' mode. They-re getting married today and I'm a little blue. All is not lost, though, We'll go to Illinois (barring any more tragedies) in May for their reception. I did complete the flowers, although I'm not happy with them. The white flower looks grey because it's a transparent bead and the wire shows through. The red flower looks nice, though. Enough for now. More later.

I would talk to Andrew. I can't see it (and I'm lookin' for it) And if it is there, it should be WAYYYY easier to find.

Height is .36
Hope that helps!
